Young Toddlers (16 months - 2 years)
At our bilingual center we are licensed to serve 14 toddlers. We have 2 staff members working with a toddler group. Such smaller ratio allows our teachers to focus more one on one time with each child. Toddlers have a more structured day and our infants quickly adjust.
Toddlerhood is an extremely important time in your child's development. It is a time when language, social, cognitive, and physical skills are growing at an exponential rate. Age focused instruction provided in 2 languages focuses on vocabulary development by having conversations with our kids and having lots of story time. Fine and large motor development are also very important at this age and we engage kids in very fun and active, but safe activities outside and inside (when it's too cold or hot).
